Let’s talk Rubbish

Did you know that skips should be level filled, this means do not overfill above the sides of the skips. Overloaded skips are dangerous as waste material may fall out and can make uplifting the skip impossible.

This is illegal and at Skip Hire Ruislip we are unable to carry a skip with an unsafe load. Overloaded skips can not be moved as this causes a significant danger to pedestrians, other road users and the environment.

Secondly, you must ensure that the location of the skip does not cause an obstruction and or compromise health & safety. 

Finally, once the skip has been delivered, you must not attempt to move the skip.  If you need to re position the skip, please contact the skip department of Skip Hire in Harrow.

Skip Sizes & Uses

 3 & 4 yard skips are suitable for household waste such as kitchen & bathroom re-fits

 7 & 8 yard builders skips are suitable for heavy waste such as soil & concrete.

10 & 12 yard skips are suitable for house clearances. The 10yd skip is the largest size available for heavy waste such as soil & concrete  

14, 16 & 18 yard skips are suitable for large bulky waste *These skips cannot be used for soil or concrete.

Roll On / Roll Off Containers           

If you are looking to dispose of substantial quantities of commercial or industrial waste and materials, we provide 20, 25 and 40 cubic yard roll on roll off bins. Most councils do not allow these roll on roll off bins to be placed on a public highway so an off-road location will be required for this type of container.
